I am not a fan of pee pads myself.
Both my girls are outside trained and rarely have accidents. Granted they are bigger but they go out about two or three times a day. My mother-in-law had a small dog and she was completely outside trained. She would go 8 hours without going potty.
I do not plan on Winstin going that long. He goes up to four or five hours now without going potty. He is going to be 5 months tomorrow and rarely has an accident in the house.
