Thanks everyone for your well wishes and advice. I figured the vet would want to see him yesterday so I was waiting for my 8 month old to wake up from her nap and then I was going to call. Before I could do that though, Max decided to eat and shortly after pepped up a lot. He had a normal poop and ran around all afternoon with my son. I obviously decided not to call the vet as he was acting normal again. Everything was fine until 7:00. Just before my husband walked in the door Max threw up (mostly clear with some bits of food) and started acting lethargic again. My vet was closed and we live way out in the country. I have no clue where the nearest emergency vet is but "town" is over 40 miles away so that would be the closest it could be. He didn't throw up again and was still drinking so I watched him through the night and he acted fairly normal. Ate some more and is quite active this morning. When my vet opens I'll call and see what he says, even if Max is acting fine at the moment.
