 Food amount
That 3/4 cup a day sounds about right for a 14 pound dog.Depends on how active he is. I have 2 Mini Schnauzers that weigh about 18 pounds and they get 1 cup each a day. I split it up and they get 1/2 in the morning and the other half at night.They are built like little tanks> muscular. They get a lot of exercise.Did the vet tell you to wet his food? I've read that its not that good to do,causes bloat and swells in their stomach. But it may help your dog in digestion, I don't really know the facts on that matter. David |
