if a dog is trying to chew on my fingers i first make my hand into a fist. This leaves no fingers to chew on, and a fist just isn't as fun so they stop. If they continue to chew i will say no bite and take my hand away (there is no attempting, i just do it. This is a tiny dog, so standing up with put fingers out of reach). After you say no bite and take your hand away, replace it with something good for him to chew on.
