The new owners, although a bit nervious, are really excellent pet owners. I thoroughly grill potential buyers prior to placing a depost, so generally I get a good or not so good feeling right away..... My buyers are well aware that I am here 24/7 after they buy a pup from me, thus the two week observation. The puppy is doing very well here; However, PSS was one of my first gut feelings about this as a possible problem. There, for the most part, seems to be no rhyme or reason to PSS and scientific research is sketchy at best..... I've produced multiple litters with this male / female combination with no issues..... Either way, we will get her fixed up..... I'm just perplexed that the routine screening for PSS came back negative, which is why we are stepping it up a bit tomorrow. The name escapes me at the moment, but I believe the test will be sent off to Texas A&M for screening and we should have results in a couple of days. |
