I'm new here and thought I should say hello. I don't have a Yorkie, but one of my best childhood buddies was a yorkie and something, I think poodle. I've wanted another ever since then, but I think I might finally be unable to resist, so I thought I'd try to educate myself a bit, and this looked like a good place to do that.

One question that struck me while digging for information: Are yorkies sensitive to the cold? Or are all these little shirts and outfits just for the sake of cuteness overdose? May sound like a silly question, but I live near Houston, Texas so I know all about the dangers of higher temps, but no clue about cold. The dog I had as a kid had some sweaters and jackets but it was never cold enough to put them on her. It was always funny just to pick them up and watch her try to jump into them herself though lol.
