so the vet has looked at it? Are you sure it's not crusty eye goop? Well she let you clean it? If it's an abcess I would be affraid to delay treatment very long. Did they start her on any antibiotics yet? Keep us posted..we understand your worry. Hope she gets to feeling better soon.
