Yes - Size does matter.
I admitt that I wanted 'tinies' - TJ was 1.8lbs at 13 weeks and Roxy was 2.1 lbs at 6 months. - I thought they would both be around 3-4 lbs full grown.
At 3 years old Roxy is 5 lbs and TJ is 7 lbs.
I love them to pieces and they are the PERFECT size for me.
The reason I say size matters is b/c I have family on the West Coast and I needed to make sure all of my dogs would be able to fit into a carrier that could go in the cabin with us when we travel. I would
never put a dog into cargo - so the main reason I wanted 'tinies' was b/c of travling on an airplane.
I admit that I did want them 'smaller' but I am so happy they turned out 'bigger' - At this size they are 'playable' without me worring if they will 'break'
