That is great news! Ellie just had her spay and liver biopsy. She does not have MVD. Since it was suspected the vet used Isoflourine and masked down with the same. She didn't use any injectables.
You could put her on Royal Canin Hepatic LS 14. It is a good food for liver compromised dogs but it made Ellie itchy. Natural Balance makes a veggie food that some use. Just remember no beef, lamb, venison and it is best to try and stay away from duck and turkey because of the tryptophan. Yorkieluv just did a post about this in the Health and Diet section.
