My little 3yr. old female yorkie has just been diagnosed with Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia....I am so upset.
White blood count was way down as was the plalets. The vet put her on Predison and an antibotic. White blood cells are finally up but plalets still down. Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced this. She could possible hemmorage internally at his point. Any info you may have will be a blessing. Thank you
