I think you are probably responding to me and I hope I didn't comae across harsh to you. You are so right- it is common sense to research a breed before you buy it but a lot of people do research and find that the yorkie standard is not to exceed 7 lbs and typically 5-6 lbs and have no idea that that might not be what they end up with. They might assume that is how most yorkies are but unfortunately with them being bred left and right by uneducated breeders that just isn't the case. If I was starting my yorkie search for the first time, I would look no further than right here at YT where most of the breeders are knowledgable and responsible but most people starting out have no idea of all of the poor breeders out there.
