The reason I guess I am spooked is because my friend had the original mother, then kept a daughter out of that litter, and then a daughter out of the daughter's litter. Lo and behold, the baby (8 years old) had to have a 2,800.00 surgery, went into cardiac arrest, and then had like another 2,000.00 trying to bring her back, but they had to have her put to sleep.

The insurance covered 70% of all of this, but I was with him when he paid for her final day and it alone was $484.00.

I guess all of this just scared me and I started thinking INSURANCE!!!!!
