soo its grammas 70 birthday this year

she always talks about this one cat she had when she was little (mainecoon) and how he whent for walks with her and was wither all the time. then one day she found him dead; it was hard for her to get over it/

so me and my mom think its a good time to suprise her with another one.

any good/bad things about the breed?

iv researched a bit and they seem like interesting cats,,!
