Default Going through the same thing! UGH!

Having had another sleepless night last night, I can completely empathize with you. We have been letting our dog sleep with us first thing in the morning after she goes potty. In hindsight, we should have never allowed this!

Historically, (she's about 1/ 1/2 years now) she has slept in her crate next to my bed with no problems. Now, she whines and whines to be let out. I cannot take it! I had to move her to the basement which is finished and she barked the entire night. We didn't want her to get her way.....I think we are confusing her with allowing her to sleep on the bed in the morning. She doesn't know why she can't do that throughout the night. I'm at a complete loss as to how to break this. We didn't let her out last night despite the repeated whining....I hope she learns but I have a funny feeling this 4 pound yorkie will be in our bed shortly! Let me know if you have a great solution. I would have thought a night alone would have helped her but apparently, she's not catching on!
