In my opinion Primal is better!! It does not have all the added ingredients that raw does not need. It is closer to the actual raw diet than NV. I feel that NV has too many added ingredients, but I gave this too my Eskie who loved it. We unfortunately can not get Primal in our area. My westie is allergic to any kind of eggs (poultry) and NV has LOTS of different eggs in it so he could not eat the medallions. He eats Solid Gold Just A Wee Bit. IF Primal ever comes into my area I will definitely switch him to the Primal!!
