I am the same way lately ... I will take them outside and sit with them on the porch but they are always on a leash.
My home is in a condo area and we are in a court like setting, so not near the street ...
I feel so sad for that man about losing his baby, that way especially. How horrible.
Keep your babies close to you, I also worry about grass spread diseases, etc.
