As a few others have mentioned, looking for a "bargain" puppy is a big mistake. Poorly bred Yorkies are less expensive, but can come with genetic time bombs just waiting to go off because their breeder didn't know about genetics and didn't do any health screening before breeding.
Why not start saving now for a wonderful Yorkie in the future when you are better prepared financially to afford it? |
But...I would like to point out that I am a college student who has 5 Yorkies...and a part time job...and I still manage to do it. What it takes more than money is dedication...I KNEW when I wanted each Yorkie that there was a chance any of them could get sick or hurt...and I'm prepared to pay everything I have and go into debt for each and every one of them if I have to. I'm not saying going into debt is a good thing...but if you're not financially blessed and you still enjoy the company of your babies...as long as you're willing to do whatever is necessary to keep them healthy and happy...
