A few years back, I had one that had lp, the vet told me he did not do that surgery, said you needed somekind of surgical vet(can't remember what he called them)..said a regular vet shold never do that surgery...he said a lot of times, they end up messing up and they end up having the surgery done again..I told my sister the same thing when her yorkie had to have that surgery, she used her vet, and ended up having to take her back in the 2nd time..I did call all the vets in this area, which, there are a lot of them, and they all told me the same thing, they didn't do that surgery, the closest vet that did it was an hour away..

I have 2 different Vets and both of them do not do this type of surgery, exspecialy on little ones. I had an Ortho Specialist do the surgery. Thanks for your input though
