I am sure that the right dog will turn up at the right time. I would TRY

to be patient though. In all honesty, $300 is a lot of money but it is nothing when you are talking about vet bills, so it is probably better to save up. Even if you get a $100 Yorkie the vet bills could go into the $1000's (or maybe not). It depends on the dog's health. We have spent over $2000 in the last 10 months on Ellie and nothing unrealistic has happened. That was just oral surgery ($600), spay and liver biopsy ($600), bile acid test twice ($200), miscellaneous office visits and an xray (a few hundred). It gets expensive.
