I had a toy poodle, he weighed around 5 pounds. His testicles never did drop. The vet recommended having him neutered anyway because he said if we didn't it could cause other problems later in life. We didn't have any females at the time so that wasn't a problem. He was small and because it is a much more serious operation than normal we decided to just leave things alone. My Rocky lived a great life for 13 years. He wasn't bothered by not having them drop and we were very lucky none of the things the vet said could happen did happen. I'm not sorry I made the decision to leave things "as is". Good luck with your baby. |
