I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I lost my mom on Dec 15th 3 years ago. It was really rough. We knew she wasn't going to make it to Christmas, so I put a small tree in her hospital room and we had an early celebration so mom could be there. But I gotta tell you, it was rough on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, except for this fact .....

When my grandfather died, my dad asked for snow to show that he had made it to heaven ok. Well, it snowed. So when mom died, dad asked for snow again and guess what!!!!???? It snowed in Houston Texas on Christmas Eve! They were even building snowmen on Galveston beach! And Christmas Eve was the day we always had our family get-together! I knew mom had made it and she was safely in heaven.

So don't be afraid to ask for a sign that she's ok and still watching over you. You might be surprised and blessed!

And it does get a little easier each year.

Thoughts and prayers going your way....
