as for pay, its not the best if your looking to make good money. I"m having enough trouble trying to move out on my own right now. Lets just say i'm not making anywhere near 50k.... I think vet techs deserve so much more. without us, vet's wouldn't be able to do anything. The two vets i work for would be helpless without their crew of techs. The doctors do the surgeries but we are the ones who run the show.
