I don't know what they pay vet techs, but Banfield pays their vets really well. Vets starting out with them make a salary higher than what the average new vet makes. I'm applying for a summer job at one of their hospitals because they have a vet student summer job program where you get a lot of hands-on experience, and I know they pay well for that too (much better than any other job I've ever had). I'm not sure what I think about a corporate vet practice right now but I think it'll be good to find out more about them this summer and I'll get some good experience. Also, I know the vets that work for them get all kinds of benefits with their salary. Anyway, I bet they pay their techs pretty well too so that might be a good place to look into.
