Stick with it. It only took a few days for mine to start getting the concept of going on the pad, but I tried for 2 months to make him go outside! I finally gave up and am back on the pads. For some reason, getting them to pee on the pads is a lot easier than getting them to poop on it. I think they have a tendency to want to do these in different places.
Are you giving him a special treat after he potties on the pad? After mine goes, I say, "good potty" and immediately give him a piece of cheese. Now, I can get him to pee on command, mostly because he wants the piece of cheese! |
