It's me. Well, me and my wife and my Yorkies. We had a house meeting and took a vote: 4-0. We want Rusty.
As with the rest of you, it broke my heart to see Megan and her family go through what they're going through. Megan has been my best online buddy for 2 1/2 years. (And Teri was in my top 100, lol, before she pulled a disappearing act.)
I know Megan trusts me about as well as you can trust anybody you meet online, and I promised her that I'd give Rusty a great life. I've been looking at larger rescues here for a while now, so this fell into my lap at the perfect time.
Our only concern is the long travel time, but people do it all the time. One long day seems like a small price to pay for a perfect fit. And that's what this is. I can't wait to introduce Eddie and Jack to their new big brother who happens to get along great with Yorkies.
