How long did it take for your Yorkie to learn what the pee pads are for? I don't necessarily mean how long it took for them to be completely potty trained...I'm just wondering how long did it take for them to get used to running to the pee pad when they have to go? I've had my little Mocha for a week now and he will be 13 weeks old tomorrow. So far, he's only gone on the pee pads twice at his own will. All the other times he's gone on it, I've had to put him there. I have the doggie litter box by Purina and I put a pee pad in it. I take him to the litter box when he wakes up, after eating/drinking and after playing. Sometimes I will spend 20 minutes with him putting him in the litter box. He won't go potty at all, and then the minute he steps out of the litter box, he goes pee or poop
I also bought him a sofa bed and for some strange reason, the only time he will touch it is to go poop on it! I try to watch him like a hawk, but it seems like the only time I take my eyes off him (for litterally 3 seconds), he'll go potty on the carpet
Can anyone offer me any tips or advice? Thanks in advance!
