I went through the same thing last year; mine was stress-related. The good thing is that it isn't a more serious health issue, the bad part is that it doesn't quit until you can get a grip on things. I have stopped losing the excessive amounts and am in the regrowth stage finally, but I've had to be on anti-anxiety meds.

How long has it been since you had your son?

Also, I used to read a forum on Telogen Effluvium which helped me to put things into perspective. I believe some women on that board said theirs was caused by low iron.

I hope they find the cause of yours soon! I can sympathize with the frustration and sadness associated with this problem.
