You shouldn't have to ask how big it will be or what color it will be or if the ears will stand or worry so much about the physical characteristic of the dog as an adult. Those things should be a given, not a cause of concern because of rampant poor breeding. |
I know..it's pretty sad that most yorkies are so out of standard these days. When I do actually see a well-bred yorkie in person, I am just awed by them. You just don't see many of them. I know my next puppy will have to come from a show breeder just so I'll get one that meets the standard... Doesn't seem to be as much of a problem with this in other breeds...take labs for instance..even the badly bred ones still look like labs.
