Sadly, you are right. When you have to search high and low to find a Yorkies that actually fits the breed description. Seems like those that fit the mold of what a Yorkie 'should be' are in the minority these days. That is really unsettling, if you ask me.
You shouldn't have to ask how big it will be or what color it will be or if the ears will stand or worry so much about the physical characteristic of the dog as an adult. Those things should be a given, not a cause of concern because of rampant poor breeding.
