That could also be true. My other baby Lucy does that sometimes because she has really bad allergies. The vet said she wouldn't need meds unless it got worse. Yorkies are very prone to collapsing trachea, and it does have many of the same symptoms as asthma. It could be one or the other. If it is more frequent than 3 times a day, I would take Chloe to vet to double check. If she does it again, just rub her throat up and down and it'll clear up almost immediately. BTW, when I was 19 I suddenly developed all kinds of weird allergies that I never had before (tomato being the weirdest, but also pollen and mold...so I think it's normal considering that you can develop things based on environmental conditions like pollution).
