Of course some people prefer mixes over purebreds which is why they adopt from the shelter or from rescue groups. I think maltese/yorkie mixes are adorable myself (the cutest mixes I've seen on average) but I would never every buy one froma breeder - only adopt one from a rescue group or from someone rehoming one. There are plenty of mixes in the shelter as well as purebreds, which is why no one should be breeding mixes or out-of-standard purebreds. If you aren't breeding to improve the breed, don't breed. And since a "morkie" is not a breed, how do you improve it? You can't... So what's the point? Breeding just to make cute puppies and keep supplying the pet overpopulation is just wrong - even if they are bought quickly, they're taking the place of another mix dying in a shelter somewhere.

If anyone is wondering about this post, it was in response to another that was deleted...didn't just "go off" for no reason
