Linus has collapsing trachea. I have no idea exactly what causes it though. From what my vet told me, reverse sneezing is a symptom of collapsing trachea. It's only when it gets very frequent that it becomes serious. Linus does it about 3 times a day, usually when he gets excited to see me for whatever reason. My vet says that if it gets more frequent that he will put him on asthma medication to make his trachea open better. I hope that helps!
