Well, I've never had it happen to one of my dogs, but I have night screams sometimes. And I know that my dogs dream and twitch like I do when I sleep, so it is possible that dogs sleep the same way humans do. I will scream bloody murder while I am sleeping, and then someone will come running to wake me up, and I don't even know that I did it. As long as he seems ok while he is awake, I don't think you need to think of it as more than just a nightmare. |
