why they couldn't...I just meant from a thinking stand point that it is a hard concept to understand the magnitude of.

I'm sitting her looking at my jar candle that is burning...one small flame that I can put out by blowing on it, but it's 'fire' none the less. Small and controlable. And then you have this 'fire'--the very same thing physically tearing things up in California just hard to grasp the concept of something that you know HOW to control--throw water on it--but it's so HUGE, you just can't get it done. Hard to fathom....
