Gosh I have such bad memories of my time in CA in 2003. The skies were always amber. the smoke had not where to go because of the smog. You could see there was a sun on the other side but it was all hazed out. my car was always coverd in ash and it was so hard on my asthma.
I feel for everyone there now and hope they can really start to get these fires under control. Prayers and wishes for all those YT in CA!!!
