I totally agree that it is not rude to say no. Sometimes I feel that people have no boundaries. I would never think of "borrowing" someone's puppy to show a friend.
One time, after a lady petted my puppies, she asked me 3 times if I wanted to sell them! Then she asked me if I wanted a tarot card reading!!
