When I was in ballet I would put my hair in a low ponytail and then twist the ponytail and wrap it around the band to form a bun. I'd stick a few bobbypins in there to hold it. Then I would put one of those hair nets over the bun and put lots of bobby pins so all the hair was held in. And then I'd hairspray like crazy!
