Not stupid at all!
It isn't normal for excessive bloating/gas - and yep, it could def. be food allergy and/or pancreas as SophieRose mentioned - also ibs/colitis or other digestive issues. It's def. from something, poor baby, gas is so uncomfortable.
Probably better get him on some Probiotics asap - are you near a health food store that carries the refrigerated ones? If they're not refridg., it is most likely that the active cultures are dead - unless they've used a very special method (can't remember what it's called right now) - at which point they'd cost more than $20. Did I just confuse you? LOL. Anyway, best to get them from an actual health food store.
