Our old vet it was $35 for a visit no matter what you went for. When I got my fosters fixed it was always about $150, but i didn't do the preop bloodwork since the ones I was in charge of fixing were larger breed pups. The small breeds I've fostered have been through a rescue so I don't know what they have paid.
When I got Slade I found a vet who just charged for the shots so I took him there. $34 for shots was a lot better than $80. I think the new vet is maybe $30 if you come in just for an exam. Luckily **knock on wood** mine stay pretty healthy so we've never had to go for anything other than shots in the past couple yrs.
When I was in SC and Laney was a pup she had parvo and had to stay overnight for 3 nights, with my college student discount he gave the total came to $200 for everything. |
