I second the beyondspoiled.com boots! Mine wouldn't wear the muttlucks.
My favorite coats are Fido Fleece & Apache River because they protect their tummies. They will adapt. Mine shiver a lot when it starts to get cold, but after the first snow they only need coats/boots if it's a deep freeze or if there is fresh, wet snow I don't feel like cleaning off when they come in.
We stop walking when it gets cold and windy. They just run outside to pee and run back in. They have to go about 10 feet to get to the grass, but Loki generally goes in the mulch right next to the porch in the winter. When it's all covered in snow it all looks and smells the same and they don't have to find the perfect spot. |
