She spoke to them like they were so far beneath her. I felt bad for him and left him a very nice tip. I mouthed the words "I'm so sorry" to him when she wasn't looking. There is just no reason to behave the way she did. |
What an idiot!!! I've heard from people who worked in restaurants that servers WILL spit in your food, or do other gross stuff to it if your rude to them. I'm sure not all do it, but I'm always polite to our server, if they piss me off I give them either a lousy tip (there have been times where I didn't tip because the service was beyond unnacceptable), or just walk out before I get my food...but I could never be rude to someone that is about to hand me my dinner!!! I'm sure not all servers will actually do something to the food, but it's definitly not worth the risk!
