I hope everyone is safe. I live in LA but have not been affected by the fires but I had some friends and clients of my fiances lose homes in Malibu and in Santa Clarita. We're going to go help them clean up but it has been a very devastating few days. Wish we could help out more but unfortunately there is not much to do since people have lost so much. Hope this all ends soon.
I was also in the 2003 fires in Poway near San Diego. I remember waking up and seeing the sky all red and orange. It was really scary and you couldn't walk outside without a mask because the air quality was horrible. Didn't have to evacuate but came close to it because the fires were surounding me all the way around. They were put out just in time thank god. But it really makes you appreciate what's most important in life.
