For your projects:
patterns - go for a simple one first
cheap fabric to begin with
velcro, d-ring, fastener, etc.
filling, foam, or pillow for bed
matching thread
You can find some inexpensive machines at walmart, target, overstock.com, craigs list, or an open box buy at your sewing store. You don't need anything fancy if your going to make basic stuff, later on you can invest in a better machine, or even a serger. |
