I have 2 boys that would be in my lap all the time if I let them. I've never had a female yorkie, but I did have a female poodle and she was very clingy and very much a lap dog. I can imagine female yorkies would be a little more independent and stubborn but I think it depends on the dog. For example, look at Villette's girls. This is an interesting thread. I'm enjoying reading about the personalities of everyone's babies
