So I'm having the same problem right now! We just brought Pumpkin home and at first she and Roo seemed to be getting along really well but now Roo growls whenever Pumpkin gets near me or I'm giving Pumpkin attention. Also, Roo just got out of the emergency hospital because she was stressed out because we just moved. We got Pumpkin because we wanted a companion dog as well and it just doesn't seem to be working out so far. Plus it seems that Roo's back to not drinking again- she's still eating a little which is good but not much water.
How do you feel about Bear? Are you attached at all? I think Pumpkin is adorable and sweet and cuddly but she barks and seems to be a lot more energetic than Roo ever was- even as a puppy. I'm just worried that it's all not a good fit =( I love my little Roo and it breaks my heart to see her so upset about all this but at the same time it would be awful to have to get rid of pumpkin =(
