One thing no one else brought up...
A good breeder will carefully screen the homes her puppies go to. If you rent, she'll probably ask for written permission from your landlord before letting you take the puppy home. She may even want to call your landlord herself to verify pets are allowed in your apartment.
So this puppy may not work out anyway. To be honest, if the breeder hasn't asked any questions about where the puppy is going, I'd be a little leery of this breeder. |
