I think part of it is the area that you live in and also the general attitude of the community. Asheville is VERY laid back and friendly (people don't even use their car horns here!), so people here are just generally accepting.
When I took Tino to Home Dept one day, these big burly guys were all coming up to us and played with him! They just melted! It was so cute! |
