Well. When we got Bentley we had just moved into our first apt 4 months before. We didn't really think anything about it and just had to have him once we visited him. We had him for 7 months, and then bought Zoey. We had them at the apt for a year and a half, and never got caught. They do inspections 2 times a year, and I would just put them in a bag and take them to classes with me (my teachers didn't mind), or take them to my parents, and sometimes I would just take them to the park when I knew they were coming. I was blessed, they don't bark alot! Other people had HUGE dogs, and some had cats. But when we moved out she said our apt was so clean, I'm a clean freak (for the most part) so that prolly helps. We used puppy pads to train, and at night they went outside. So now at the new place they do both still. But we're all legal now! It's possible.

I guess I should say we're both in college, and it was a horrible mess finding a place that would allow pets. I'm thankful that we did find a place, more expensive, but worth it to have out kiddos. We didn't have to pay a pet deposit though, she worked with us and is just keeping a little of our deposit. So you still may look around to make sure you have a plan when your deposit is up. I know that we had to extend our lease 6 months at the other place because we couldn't find anything for so long.
