Yorkies born blue has a genetic problem. the gold will grow but the blue will not. I have a friend with a dog (yorkie) like this and thats what happens to her. The blue yorkie true blue yorkie is so black their hair looks like a lady from somewhere elses hair when you hold it in the sun it will shine blue. Good luck and it is a problem. she's very pretty but , it can be spread in her litters.
