Bella may need a C-section because she had 5 pups about two years ago and 6 or 7 puppies is a lot of babies for a mom to deliver naturally! Her uterus is worn out from carrying so many puppies and this will be her last litter. If she gets a C-section, she'll get spayed as well. If she doesn't need a C-section, she'll get spayed before her next heat cycle.
My old Yorkie Jojo who died, managed to have five litters before she got spayed. She was on the larger side almost 7lbs. Bella is petite, weighing 5 1/6lbs before she got pregnant. |
